There is a new happin' joint in JP that is worth checking out, especially if you dig authentic Mexican food. Chilacates, located at 224 Amory Street, right by the Stony Brook t station is some of the best local Mexican cuisine one can get. The tortillas for the tacos are made in house and all the ingredients are fresh, from the ingredients in the pineapple-corn salsa to the cactus in the Nopales (how do they do that?). The service is fast and friendly, and it's clear to see this is going to be a neighborhood favorite for years to come.
It has been a pleasure working with the Egleston Farmers Market over the past few months.
"Egleston Farmers Market is a volunteer, community-led initiative to make fresh, locally-grown food accessible to residents of Jamaica Plain and Roxbury while supporting the local economy. The market is co-sponsored by Egleston Square Main Street, Jamaica Plain New Economy Transition, and Good Egg Marketing. "
I look forward to many more delicious photos! If you like good food, great people, and an awesome community then make your way down to JPNDC Lot on Germania St. in Jamaica Plain, right by the entrance for the Sam Adams Brewery. Sat 10am-2pm
